I am originally from Dayton, Ohio and relocated to Kansas City in 2002 to be a part of a ministry in South Kansas City. There I met my husband and we got married in 2005. Soon after we conceived our first child and after some research, I knew I wanted to take natural birthing classes. These classes really opened my eyes to the beauty of birth. I realized that it wasn’t something to fear, but to embrace. It was during this time that I developed a passion for the process of labor. As I had more babies, the desire to come along side pregnant mothers in labor only grew in my heart. I am passionate about empowering pregnant women by aiding them in the process of self-advocacy, as they navigate through ALL of their birthing options.
